June 15, 2017 C-1981-037/GEC Strip Mine ZTT <br />Surfacing and Maintenance4.03.1(5) and (6)/4.03.2(5) and (6) <br />Reclamation 4.03.1(7)/4.03.2(7): <br />The access road leading the east area was in decent condition. Erosional cutting along the steeper sections of the <br />road was observed. Drainage crossings appeared to be stable and no major issues were observed. <br />RECLAMATION SUCCESS - Rule 4.15, Rule 3: <br />The East Area, West Area, North Area and the North Orphan Mine area were all inspected for revegetation. The <br />majority of the area were well established with vegetation. The eastern facing slope the West Area has some bare <br />areas with limited vegetation as well as visible gullies. Gullies were also observed along the western slope of the <br />south of the main gated entrance to the Southfield Mine as well as the northern slope of the West Area. Bare areas <br />were also observed along the top of the West Area. The North Area is stable with substantial vegetation diversity <br />and growth.
