The culvert was found and functioning during <br />the inspection, but will need additional repairs and the inlet better established. <br /> Culvert F2-C outlet needs to be cleared (facilities laydown area) <br /> Culvert F1 inlet needs to be cleared and repaired <br /> Culverts along the 10RT/6MN road need to be cleared. This was the case for most of the culverts along <br />the road. <br /> A broken pipe was flowing at the 6MN vent shaft. This was going to a sediment pond. However the <br />sediment pond is likely not sized for the additional flow and the leak needs to be repaired. <br /> 5MN pad needs additional vegetation established and silt fence maintenance and/or waddles repaired <br /> Fish Creek Tipple diversion ditch has two culverts that require repair and clean out and patch or bare <br />ground the vegetation needs to be establish <br /> 18RT stream buffer zone signs were falling over. Operator temporarily fixed the signs during the <br />inspection, but the signs will need further maintenance. <br /> Vegetation is spare at the 9E Utility Borehole and will need to be seeded. <br /> 7N Escape shaft pad: An erosional gully has formed near the pad entrance and will require maintenance, <br />silt fence repair and seeded will be needed at this site. This was discussed with the operator to be done in <br />the fall. <br /> Fish Creek borehole pad dual culverts need to be cleared and waddles need maintenance. <br /> 15L pad has weeds that will need to be sprayed <br /> <br />Long wall was in the 9 East Panel and operating at the time of inspection. Continuous miners were working in the <br />8 East gate road 90 to 91. <br /> <br />The Foidel Creek School House does not appear to be affected by the mining operation. <br />PROCESSING WASTE/COAL MINE WASTE PILES – Rule 4.10 and 4.11 <br />Drainage Control; Surface Stabilization; Placement: <br /> <br />The original coal refuse and disposal area was observed as well as the expansion area. The original refuse area <br />appeared stable. TC is windrowing waste material on the 3rd lift of the expansion area. The 2nd lift has been <br />completed and was seeded last fall and vegetation is appearing. Water was discharging at the toe of the <br />underdrain. A contractor has installed a new upper diversion ditch east of the CRDA expansion area. <br /> <br />SLIDES and DAMAGE - Rule 4.12:
