SCOPE <br />The present study has been carried out in accordance with guidelines <br />promulgated by the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board t(x1LR81 and the <br />Office of Surface Mining tOSMI. Guidelines concerning e~erimental design <br />and methodology for vegetation mapping, phytosociological sampling and <br />primary productivity sampling were followed. Details of sampling transact <br />design and methodology were presented to staff personnel from the CMLRB <br />and the O5M for their review, comment and approval. Vegetation type <br />recognition and sale site location were accomplished in the laboratory. <br />Statistical analyses performed utilized standard procedures and conform <br />with those suggested by the regulatory agencies. <br />II.F- 2 <br />
