<br />Aggregate Industries Morrison Quarry GEI Consultants, Inc. <br />Geotechnical Addendum, 2016 Annual Report 9 January 2017 <br />77 degrees. Iron oxide staining was prevalent. Pegmatite present at Sta. 1+85. The <br />RMR classification is Poor to Fair. <br /> Section C (Sta. 1+85 to Sta. 4+60) of the scanline trended 5 degrees. Foliations <br />exhibited a strike ranging from 220 degrees to 340 degrees with dips ranging from <br />10 degrees to 45 degrees. Two primary joint sets were evident. The first primary <br />set exhibited an average strike of 88 degrees and average dip of 82 degrees. The <br />second set exhibited an average strike of 232 degrees and average dip of <br />75 degrees. Iron oxide staining was present in several pockets. Near vertical <br />pegmatite at Sta. 2+42 and Sta. 3+70. There was a minor section of adversely <br />dipping foliation in upper half of high wall at Sta. 3+50. The RMR classification is <br />Fair to Good. <br /> Section D (Sta. 4+60 to Sta. 5+40) of the scanline trended 5 degrees. Foliations <br />exhibited a strike ranging from 150 degrees to 350 degrees with dips ranging from <br />5 degrees to 20 degrees. Two primary joint sets were evident. The first primary set <br />exhibited an average strike of 125 degrees and average dip of 55 degrees. The <br />second set exhibited an average strike of 187 degrees and average dip of <br />88 degrees. One secondary joint set was evident. The secondary set exhibited an <br />average strike of 347 degrees and average dip of 60 degrees. Iron oxide staining <br />present. The RMR classification is Poor to Good. <br /> Section E (Sta. 5+40 to Sta. 6+75) of the scanline trended 5 degrees. Foliations <br />exhibited a strike ranging from 290 degrees to 350 degrees with dips ranging from <br />10 degrees to 30 degrees. Two primary joint sets were evident. The first primary <br />set exhibited an average strike of 242 degrees and average dip of 81 degrees. The <br />second set exhibited an average strike of 175 degrees and average dip of <br />76 degrees. One secondary joint set was evident. The secondary set exhibited an <br />average strike of 100 degrees and average dip of 58 degrees. Iron oxide staining <br />present. Narrow, near vertical pegmatite intrusions at Sta. 5+73 and 5+86. The <br />RMR classification is Poor to Good. <br /> Section F (Sta. 6+75 to Sta. 8+80) of the scanline trended 5 degrees. Foliations <br />exhibited a strike ranging from 220 degrees to 360 degrees with dips ranging from <br />5 degrees to 30 degrees. Two primary joint sets were evident. The first primary set <br />exhibited an average strike of 258 degrees and average dip of 83 degrees. The <br />second set exhibited an average strike of 347 degrees and average dip of 87 degrees. <br />One secondary joint set was evident. The secondary set exhibited an average strike <br />of 225 degrees and average dip of 88 degrees. Minor iron oxide staining present, <br />mostly in the middle strata. Near vertical pegmatite at Sta. 8+70.The RMR <br />classification is Poor to Good.
