i. Revisions to achieve the required Factors of Safety and addressing the
comments in Item L below. The response is adequate.
ii. Requested specifications in Item G(i). The response is not adequate, see Item G
(i) above.
L) Slope stability, analvses (Attachment A). Please revise the analvses to include the following:
i. Section A-fully loaded haul truck and seepage layer—the response is adequate,
ii. Section B-fully loaded haul truck and the 3,00013,360 ton stockpile, concentrate
storage structure and concrete base the response is adequate.
Additional Comments.
M) Attachment 3, Drmving 20-647-84. This drawing is dated 412712017 and shows a road
configuration different from that in Attachment 4 (Drawing 30-647-19, dated 411312017 and the
Figure I in NewField's Attachment 12, also dated 412712017. The Attachment 3 drawing shows
the access road to the concentrate building coming in from the east and the AGVLF. Has the
access road approach/alignment changed? If so, the stability analyses will need to be re-
assessed.
CC&V Response: The previously submitted drawing 20-647-84 Rev B only showed the
proposed building profile and loading area concrete pad. The attached 20-647-84 Rev C
(attachments 5) has been updated to show the High Grade Mill pad expansion. Drawings 20-647-
84 and 30-647-19 now both match the High Grade Mill pad expansion profile assessed by
Newfields in their technical memorandum `Concentrate Stockpile Stability Analysis' Figure 1.
Should you require further information please do not hesitate to contact Tyler O'Donnell at 719.689.4056
or Tvler.O'Donnell a newmont.com or myself at 719.689.4055 or Meg.Burt(a)newmont.com.
Sincerely,
1&
Meg Burt
Senior Environmental Manager
Cripple Creek& Victor Gold Mining Co
M B/tvo
Attachments 1 - 5
Ec: T.
