There are no significant wildlife
populations in the vicinity with no seasonal use.
Upon consultation with Colorado Division of Wildlife, Colton Murray provided a list of
wildlife present in the area including, small numbers of deer, migratory elk, yellow
bellied marmot, meadowlark bird, magpie bird, deer mouse, and rattlesnake. Populations
exist in the surrounding area in small numbers. These populations are not affected by
operations.
Murray commented that there are no known endangered species in the permit or
surrounding areas.
Attached CPW comment dated March 31, 2017 reflects that this is an ongoing operation
and that no additional impacts are anticipated.
