Box 1488 <br />Paonia, CO 81428 <br />RE: Bowie No. 1 Mine, Permit No. C-1981-038 <br />Permit Revision 5, Preliminary Adequacy Review <br />Dear Mr. Bear, <br />The Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety (the Division) has received <br />the Bowie No.I Mine's March 13, 2017 submittal of required items. The information <br />provided allowed the revision to be called complete on March 24, 2017. The Division <br />has the following comments: <br />Rule 2.05.5(2)(a) — Post Minins Land Use <br />1. The information submitted with the revision application did not include the <br />acreages for the area to be affected by the proposed land use change. Please <br />update page 2.05-31 to include the proposed acreage changes to the post mining <br />land use at the loadout. <br />Rule 2.05.5(2)(c) and Rule 2.10 — Post Mining Land Use Maas <br />2. Please update Map -6A to include the acres that are proposed to have their post mining <br />land use changed. <br />3. Please update the title for Map -6, Pre & Post Mining Land Use, to reflect that this map <br />will only apply to pre mining land use conditions. <br />Other Adequacy Ouestions due to Citizen Comments: <br />4. In the event that Delta County approves the land—use change and the Division proposes to <br />approve PR -5, how would BRL address the reclamation of the Farmer's Ditch?
