Danny Kipp was present during the
inspection. Skies were lightly cloudy and temperatures reached the low 50 degrees F. Equipment grader was
working to smooth the ground for further soil depositions. Recent rains yielded 0.65 inches of precipitation
halting cutting and filling operations while soil was soft. Dugout and Sediment Pond #2 held small amounts of
water.
INSPECTION:

SIGNS AND MARKERS Rule 4.02

Photo 1: Mine Site Identification sign.

o The mine site identification sign inside the
entrance to the facilities from County Road 59
was intact, displaying all required
information: mine name, operator name,
address, phone number, DRMS permit number
and contact information, (Photo 1).
o Permit boundary signs appeared intact and
placed in adequate numbers throughout the
site.
o Topsand stockpiles observed were clearly
marked with identifying signs.
