This written notification is follow-up to the verbal
notification that was made to you via voicemail on May 2"d, 2017.
MNGW-1 was sampled during a normally scheduled monitoring event on April 6th, 2017, with a pH value
of 6.4 standard units (s.u.). This exceeded the numeric protection limit (NPL) of 6.5-8.5. As required by
the Groundwater Management plan, a follow-up pH measurement was taken within 30 days on April 18,
2017, resulting in a pH of 6.3 s.u.
These results do not appear to be anomalous, or obvious outliers. If you have any additional questions or
concerns, please feel free to contact me at 720-942-3518.
Sincerely,
t v— ,/
Tim Haynes
Chief Environmental Scientist
Climax Molybdenum Company
Henderson Operation
cc(via email):
M.
