Bond was submitted to <br />cover reclamation costs associated with exploration drill holes in Las Animas County. The Division has <br />completed an inspection of these sites under the SL -1 application and determined the sites are active <br />monitoring wells. The wells were excluded from the SL -1 application. New Elk Coal Company submitted <br />a Minor Revision No. 123 (MR -123) to incorporate the monitoring wells into the New Elk Mine permit no. C- <br />1981-012. MR -123 was approved on August 31, 2015. <br />The legal description for the project is as follows: <br />Section 19, Township 33 South, Range 67 West; Sections 1, 13, and 24, Township 34 South, Range 68 <br />West; and Sections 7, 8, 16, 18, 21, and 28, Township 34 South, Range 67 West. <br />Any person with an interest which may be adversely affected by this proposed decision may submit <br />written comments to the Division at the address below within 30 days of publication of this proposed <br />decision in the Craig Daily Press. <br />If you have any questions, please feel free to call. <br />1313 Sherman Street, Room 215, Denver, CO 80203 P 303.866.3567 F 303.832.8106 http://mining.state.co.us <br />John W.
