The proposed operation does not anticipate exposing groundwater. Therefore,
exposure of ground water must not occur during or after mining operations.
According to our records a well has been constructed under permit no. 80109-F,
approved to withdraw 25 acre-feet per year for industruial use for placer mining purposes.
Currently, the stream system in this location is not overappropriated, however this well may be
subject to administration in the water rights priority system in the future. It is recommended that
a water court decree be obtained to affirm the priority of the well.
COMMENTS:
This office has no objections to the applicant's request.
The applicant may contact the State Engineer's Office with any questions.
6t-,-
1313 Sherman Street, Room 821, Denver, CO 80203 P 303.866.3581 jai p
John W.
