The inspection was <br />conducted by Clayton Wein of the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety (the Division). Basil Bear of <br />Bowie Resources was present for a portion of the iunspection. The weather was cloudy with a temperature of 45 <br />degrees farenheight. The ground conditions were mostly dry with some damp areas. <br />HYDROLOGIC BALANCE - Rule 4.05 <br />Drainage Control 4.05.1, 4.05.2, 4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5, 4.0 5.6; Discharge Structures 4.05.7, 4.05.10; <br />Diversions 4.05.4; Effluent Limits 4.05.2; Ground Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Surface Water Monitoring 4.05.13; <br />Drainage – Acid and Toxic Materials 4.05.8; Impoundments 4.05.6, 4.05.9; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18: <br /> <br />- The ponds at the loadout were dry at the time of the inspection. The embankments wee well vegetated and <br />stable. No indications of erosion were noted. <br /> <br />- Binwall Ponds 3 (Photo 1) and 4 (Photo 2) were inspected at the East Mine. Both of the ponds were dry during <br />the inspection. The embankments for the ponds were in good condition and stable. There were no indications of <br />erosion. The channel following the discharge outlet of the Binwall Pond #4 was in good repair and there were no <br />erosional issues. <br /> <br />- The ROMpile Pond was dry (Photo 3). The embankments were well vegetated and stable.
