I am providing the following information is to <br /> address the Corrective Action section of your March 1, 2017 Inspection Report. <br /> Corrective action #1 - Signs and Markers. <br /> The sign was posted on April 24, 2017 near the entrance to the active portion of the mine as we <br /> discussed during hte inspection. There is an exiting sign on the original property access gate on <br /> the public road. Photos are enclosed showing the new sign. <br /> Corrective action #2 -Fuel containment <br /> The fuel storage tank was cleaned and placed on a compacted pad on April 15, 2017. Scott <br /> Contracting, Inc, the company mining the site, preformed the actions to correct this problem. <br /> Attached is a letter from Scott to Baculite committing to maintain the fuel storage facility in a <br /> good order. The fuel tank has a 500 gallon capacity and the containment tank handles 700 <br /> gallons so there is 40%more room then the fuel storage capacity. Photos are enclosed showing <br /> the current status of the facility. <br /> Corrective action 93 - Oil spill cleanup <br /> The spill clean up was completed on April 27th with the material being removed and placed in <br /> containment bags for disposal. Arrangements have been made with Waste Management for <br />
