The site is a reclaimed underground mine.
The haul road to the reclaimed portal has been reclaimed. The culvert for Munger Canyon drainage has been
removed leaving a steep dip to cross the drainage. Vehicle access through this dip is reserved for dry conditions or
ATV access. The site was dry at the beginning of the inspection. Thunderstorms were moving in from the south
and west. The inspection progressed to the reclaimed topsoil stockpile footprint and the waste material pile before
the storm moved in. The inspection was truncated at that point.
EXCESS SPOIL and DEVELOPMENT WASTE – Rule 4.09
Placement; Drainage Control; Surface Stabilization:
Reclaimed waste material pile vegetation is beginning to emerge on recently seeded area. Perennial
grasses and annual mustards were identifiable. Straw mulch remains on the surface. Site is not eroding.

ROADS – Rule 4.03, Drainage 4.03.1(4)/4.03.2(4), Reclamation 4.03.1(7)/4.03.2(7):
The access road was dry at the beginning of the inspection. The inspector got back to the highway before
the road became too muddy or impassible. The gate at Salt Creek bridge remained open and accessible. The
inspector was not able to access the reclaimed haul road to the portals due to the intense thunderstorm.

REVEGETATION – Rule 4.15
Vegetative Cover; Timing:
Vegetation is beginning to green up. Early seral species are emerging on the recently seeded areas.

TOPSOIL – Rule 4.06
Removal 4.06.2; Substitute Materials 4.06.4(4); Storage and Protection 4.06.3; Redistribution 4.06.4:
Vegetation is emerging on the reclaimed topsoil stockpile footprint.
