Aerial photographs were also taken as part of this inspection by Harry Ranney with
DRMS on 3/30/2017. The ground inspection was conducted by Tabetha Lynch with the Division of Reclamation,
Mining and Safety. Miranda Blomquist with MCM was present during the inspection. The weather was clear.
No cows were grazing on the site at the time of inspection. No reclamation activities are occurring at the site at
the time of inspection. Title IV work was occuring at the site at the time of inspection.
The Division received notice on November 10, 2016 from MCM removing the Williams Fork Mine from
Temporary Cessation Status. The return to active status due to reclamation activites increases the inspection
frequency by the Division to two partial inspections and one complete inspection each quarter. The change in
status also returns the site to the orginal permit requirements with regard to hydrologic monitoring.
HYDROLOGIC BALANCE -Rule 4.05
Drainage Control 4.05.1, 4.05.2, 4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5, 4.05.6; Discharge Structures 4.05.7, 4.05.10;
Diversions 4.05.4; Effluent Limits 4.05.2; Ground Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Surface Water Monitoring 4.05.13;
Drainage — Acid and Toxic Materials 4.05.8; Impoundments 4.05.6, 4.05.9; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18:
Ponds were not holding water or discharging water, with the exception of the waste water pond which was
holding a small amount of water but not discharging.
