PUBLIC NOTICE <br /> <br />Coors Energy Company, with a business address 1801 California Street, Suite 4600 <br />Denver, CO 80202, has applied to the Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining & <br />Safety for a renewal of its Permit for continued reclamation operations at the Keenesburg <br />Mine. Coors Energy Company owns and is reclaiming the Keenesburg Mine under the <br />current DRMS Permit No. C-1981-028. <br /> <br />The Keenesburg Mine is located 7 miles north of Keenesburg, and is accessed by Weld <br />County Road 59. The USGS 7.5 minute quadrangle maps, “Klug Ranch” and “Tampa” <br />contain the entire operation and a private access road. The current permitted area is <br />portions of Sections 25 and 36, T3N-R64W, 6th Principal Meridian, Weld County, <br />Colorado. <br /> <br />Copies of the application may be viewed at the Town Hall, 140 S. Main, Keenesburg, <br />Colorado, and at the Division of Reclamation, Mining & Safety offices, 1313 Sherman <br />Street, Room 215, Denver, Colorado 80203. Telephone 303 866-3567. <br /> <br />Anyone with an interest may submit written comments, objections, or a request for an <br />informal conference within 30 days. All comments, objections, and requests must be <br />submitted in writing to the Division of Reclamation, Mining & Safety, at the above <br />address. <br /> <br /> <br />Published in the Ft.
