13. Attach the boat transporter handle and hydraulic hose. <br />The aluminum handle is held in place with a pin which is dropped through a fork <br />and tongue connection. <br />A quick connection is used to attach the hydraulic hose to the cylinder of the Boat <br />Transporter. <br />This will allow the transporter to be raised and lowered with the hydraulic hand <br />pump, and loaded boats to be pushed and pulled to their correct positions in the <br />retort. <br />Figure 2.26 - Transporter Handle and Hose Connection <br />14. Lift the stacked boats using the hydraulic hand pump. The boats must be lifted to an <br />elevation where the bottom of the lower boat will not interfere with the shelves in <br />the retort, nor will the top of the upper boat interfere with the retort vessel. <br />Figure 2.27 - Hydraulic Hand Pump <br />34
