Other Permits and Licenses <br />CC&V is in the process of securing required permitting (Title V) with APCD to include the Retort as an <br />additional emission source. CC&V submitted an APEN to APCD on February 22, 2017 (see attachment <br />5). <br />Under current legislation, CC&V is classified as a large quantity generator and as such has a robust <br />understanding of the requirements for managing hazardous waste. In accordance with the EPA's Resource <br />Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) Laws and Regulations, the following existing site specific plans <br />and documents will require amendment to allow for the - storage of mercury on site. As part of this <br />program, CC&V will update the following RCRA plans: <br />Waste minimization plan <br />Contingency Plan <br />Spill Response plan <br />No additional permitting is required to comply with RCRA. <br />Implementation Schedule <br />After approval of this TR, CC&V will begin construction on the essential facilities and infrastructure. <br />CC&V anticipates completing construction by mid spring 2017 with operation of the retort commencing <br />by June of 2017. <br />Enclosed please find check no. 200028047 in the amount of $1,006 for the technical revision fee.
