The injection well construction will be similar to previously <br /> constructed NS horizontal injection wells. The preexisting NS DS-9 ground water monitor well <br /> will be utilized as the subsurface subsidence monitor well (SSMW)for the 403H well pair. The <br /> DS-9 penetrates the R-6 confining interval and is proximal to the planned 4031-1-1 and 403-R <br /> connection location. <br /> The 4031-1-1 production liner will be ran from production lateral TD to surface. An annular packer <br /> will be set with the 4.5" production liner at the Dissolution Surface (DS) to seal the annular <br /> space between the production liner and the 7.0" intermediate casing. The annular packer will <br /> allow NS to perform MIT of the intermediate casing. The liner hanger method used by NS in the <br /> past will be retained as a completion option. Included in this package are two plug and <br /> abandonment diagrams, detailing the plug and abandonment options. One option is to install a <br /> cast iron bridge plug in the liner below the DS, perforating the 4.5" liner, then cementing it to <br /> surface. The second option involves installing the cast iron bridge plug in the liner below DS, <br /> cutting the liner above the bridge plug and removing that tubing, then cementing the well to <br /> surface. <br /> Please find attached: <br /> • Aerial and topographic maps indicating proposed SSMW location and the X mile the Area of <br /> Review(AOR) <br /> • Completed 7520-6 form <br /> • Completed 7520-14 form <br /> • Comprehensive list of the AOR Wells <br /> • Well completion diagrams for the proposed injection and recovery well <br /> • Well Plug and Abandonment diagrams for both P&A options. <br /> Well completion information and schematics for all existing wells in the AOR remain unchanged <br /> and have been previously submitted to the EPA. All wells in the AOR have been properly <br /> sealed, completed, or plugged and abandoned.
