Annual
Hydrology Reports are stand alone documents containing, the methods and
results of all monitoring activities. In addition, monitoring has been conducted in
accordance with the NPDES Permit as described in Exhibit 22, NPDES Permit,
and summarized in the Annual Hydrology Reports.
Current and historic monitoring locations are generally described below:
NE -001-G: A grab sample station from the New Elk Mine remediation system
permitted under the NPDES Permit No. COG -310069. The station was
established to monitor water discharging from the UST facilities area. NE -001-G
is sampled at its outfall prior to discharging into D-16, which flows into pond
007, a site monitored under NPDES Permit No. CO -0000906.
NE -004: Grab sample of the discharge from the primary spillway of sediment
Section 2.05 RN -6 Revised 02/07/2017
