The <br /> plan commits to conducting and reporting routine inspection results to the appropriate regulatory <br /> agencies. <br /> 6.4.21(1) Description of Compliance <br /> (a) This section describes the procedures by which the Operator will comply with <br /> applicable regulations to protect areas from potential mine related impacts.An <br /> Environmental Protection Plan(EPP)is required due to the use of, storage;handling <br /> and disposal of Colorado Division of Reclamation Mining and Safety(CDRMS) <br /> designated chemicals and potentially acid-forming materials. <br /> (b) Potential adverse impacts are discussed specifically in Sections 6.4.21(5),6.4.21(6), <br /> 6.4.21(14). Specifically;the EPP will address mine rock storage and disposal. <br /> (c) This Environmental Protection Plan has addressed performance standards contained <br /> within the Act with respect to the proposed location of operations at the site. <br /> (d) The mine site has a history extending over 100 years. Based on the historical legacy of <br /> the site,there are no significant environmental issues associated with the mine site as <br /> explained further in Section 6.4.2121(7)(d)—Naturally Occurring Geological and <br /> Geochemical Conditions. The history of the site has been taken into consideration <br /> during the development of the EPP. <br /> 6.421(2) Maps <br /> No acid or toxic mine drainage or potential acid or toxic producing solid or liquid non-contained sources <br /> have been identified within the permit area(See Figure U-1). <br /> 6 4 21(3) Other Agencies' Environmental Protection Measures and Monitorin>; <br /> Colorado Department of Health and the Environment(CDPHE) Stormwater Management Plans(SWMPs) <br /> and permit for construction activities and metal mining(COR0040222)call for monitoring of the <br /> stormwater and erosion control measures(Best Management Practices(BMPs).
