Water Information-Amendment <br /> Dust Control: IF necessary,the out of priority dust control water consumptive <br /> use estimated volume to control dust is approximately' 6 ac/ft. per year. <br /> Fire Suppression: Two 5,000 gallon bladders will be used for fire suppression water <br /> storage. <br /> Reclamation:No site irrigation is planned. <br /> Domestic Water: Bottled water will be purchased for employees and visitors. <br /> 6.4.7(4) Projected Water Sources <br /> The Operator has two existing water rights. The 1904 senior water right, acquired <br /> through the lease with Fairfield Land Company, (Case No. 80CW133) allocates <br /> groundwater at a consumptive use rate of 40 gallons per minute (gpm) for the purposes of <br /> mining, milling and industrial activities associated with the Mayday Mine. The second <br /> water right was filed on November 30, 2006 (Case No. 06CW91)and authorizes the <br /> conditional use of I cfs (capped at 12 acre feet per year) for mining,milling and <br /> industrial purposes. The source of water is located near the Idaho Spring a tributary to <br /> the La Plata River. <br /> Groundwater near the Idaho Mill and May Day No. 1 will be used at a rate not to exceed <br /> 40 gpm. A production water well permit application will be processed by the Colorado <br /> Division of Water Resources (DWR). In accordance with DWR requirements,the <br /> Operator will prepare a Substitute Water Supply Plan (SWSP) and an augmentation plan <br /> to address project consumptive use requirements. <br /> 6.4.7(5) Discharge and Stormwater Management Permit <br /> The Colorado Department of Public Health and the Environment(CDPHE) issued a <br /> CDPS General Permit for Stormwater Discharges associated with Metal Mining to The <br /> Operator, Permit No. COR-04000, Facility No. COR-040222, on October 17, 2006. The <br /> Operator has received a CDPS Industrial Individual Wastewater Discharge Permit(COR <br /> 03H717). <br /> 1 Included the consideration of a road length of ten thousand two hundred(10,200)feet.
