Albert Frei & Sons, Inc. Stagecoach Stop Pit
Permit # M-1983-067 2017 Annual Report
Notes:
7. Mining was done by December 1, 2016. The dark green area (5.32 acres) is
undisturbed area along the river. Side sloping and final grading is completed on
the reservoir slopes.
9. The areas above the reservoir water elevation around the reservoir area were
seeded in the fall of 2015. The grass is growing as expected.
11. Final grading of the reservoir floor was completed this year. Much of the
mine area is lake bottom and needs little or no reclamation. Final 3:1 slopes into
the reservoir area are complete.
14. There are no topsoil piles on the site they have been used for reclamation.
16. A copy of the SEO's slurry wall certification letter is on file with the
division. The water exposed is owned by AFS.
20. The monitoring results are attached from September 2008 thru March 20,
2017. This reports also contains ground water depth information collected by AFS
for monitoring wells 1, 2, 3, 4, 7 & 8 starting in first quarter 2013 as requested by
Division. Monitoring wells are north and east of the mined area. The ground water
levels have been stable and are back to the levels when we took the permit over.
Therefore we believe that the activities we have done, have minimized the impact
to the hydrological balance on the mine site.
