Gunnison Ave, Suite 240 <br />Grand Junction, CO 81501-5711 <br /> <br /> <br />Re: Trapper Mine (Permit No. C-1981-010) <br /> Technical Revision No. 118 (TR-118) <br /> Annual Reclamation Report Appendix W TR-118 2016 <br /> <br /> <br />Dear Sir or Madam: <br /> <br />The Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety hereby issues notice, in accordance with Title 34, <br />Article 33, Section 116, Paragraph 4, of the Colorado Revised Statutes, that on March 16, 2017 an <br />application to revise coal mining operations at the Trapper Mine was considered complete for the <br />purposes of filing. The revision was submitted by Trapper Mining, Inc. All review and comment <br />periods as provided in the Act and the Regulations initiate from this date of filing. <br /> <br />TR-118 incorporates the 2016 Annual Reclamation Report into the permit as, Appendix W <br />Volume XLVI. During calendar year 2016, Trapper Mine reported among other items the <br />following: <br />1. Disturbed Acres: 48.8 in L Pit area <br />2. Backfilled & Graded Acres: 143.7 <br />3. Topsoiled Acres: 143.7 <br />4. Seeded Acres: 143.7 <br />5. Development Drilling: 12 holes drilled and abandoned. <br /> <br />The applicant is not proposing additional surface disturbance outside of the area currently <br />approved for disturbance. <br /> <br />The surface coal mining operation is on land located approximately 6 miles Southwest of Craig, <br />Colorado. The permit area is further described as follows:
