Analytical results were to evaluate if whether <br /> potential environmental concerns would be observed from disposal of these products under atmospheric <br /> conditions. Two products were obtained; rougher concentrate and cleaner concentrate, both were <br /> analyzed using the standard solids waste disposal characterization (SWDC) method mimicking the <br /> Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) SW-846 method 1311, toxicity characteristic leaching <br /> procedure (TCLP). Results for both samples, rougher and cleaner concentrates, show compliance <br /> against EPA allowable heavy metal limits as shown below in Table I. Full analytical characterizations, <br /> Newmont's SWDC method, and EPA SW-846 method 1311 are included. <br /> Table I.
