Colowyo Coal Company L.P. IV. Phase III Areas Summary of Reclamation and Management A. General Description As shown on Map 2, each area requested for bond release is comprised of smaller units, which correspond to the specific year that backfilling, grading and reseeding was performed. The work completed includes regrading to the approved post -mining topography, topsoil replacement, and seeding with the approved seed mix. Grading and topsoil replacement was generally performed in the summer and fall months and seeding occurred in the fall. The following table presents when each reclamation parcel was regraded, topsoiled, and seeded. As noted in the above table, each of these reclamation parcels have met the minimum ten year liability period in accordance with Rule 3.02.3(2)(b). In accordance with the criteria set forth in the "Guideline Regarding Selected Coal Mine Bond Release Issues", issued April 18, 1995, no rill and gully repair has occurred on any of the areas applied for under this application in the last five years. This has been demonstrated through Colowyo's annual rill and gully reports which are on file with Division. No sediment control structures associated with these reclamation parcels are being requested to be released under this application. Phase I bond release has been achieved on all parcels being applied for under this application. Phase II bond release has been granted on several parcels already, and the others as noted on the table below and being applied for Phase II under this application.
