Attached is a pdf of <br />the corrected submittal package for your file. <br />I also reviewed the Reclamation Cost Estimate. As you indicated, the CDRMS estimate is about $1,000 more than our <br />initial estimate ($1,113). In doing a side-by-side comparison, I noted that our numbers for the actual project costs were <br />almost identical ($3,676 — TC/$3,639-CDRMS). The difference lies in the "Overhead and Profit" and "Administrative" <br />costs ($294-TC/$1,444-CDRMS). The CDRMS number for these costs is about 28% of the calculated "Total Bond <br />Amount", which seems excessive. I would ask that you review the CDRMS cost estimate for reasonableness, <br />specifically; 1) Given the limited scope and nature of the required work, is a Job Superintendent necessary ($329.20); <br />and 2) The figure of $500 for "Financial warranty processing" seems like an unnecessary add-on, or at a minimum, <br />excessive for the job size? <br />We appreciate your consideration and assistance as we move forward to finalize this revision.
