No mine representative <br />was present during the inspection. Weather conditions were clear with the temperature around fifty degrees <br />fahrenheit. Ground conditions were snow covered. <br />BACKFILL and GRADING – Rule 4.14 <br />Contemporaneous Reclamation 4.14.1; Approximate Original Contour 4.14.2; Highwall Elimination 4.14.1(2)(f); <br />Steep Slopes 4.14.2, 4.27; Handling of Acid and Toxic Materials 4.14.3; Stabilizatio n of Rills and Gullies 4.14.6: <br />Parcels of the West Pit were backfilled and regraded in 2016. The reclamation remains stable and no visible signs <br />of erosions can be observed within the West Pit. <br /> <br /> <br />EXCESS SPOIL and DEVELOPMENT WASTE – Rule 4.09 <br />Placement; Drainage Control; Surface Stabilization: <br />The temporary spoil pile north of the South Taylor Pit was inspected. No signs of instability was observed.
