,&17�COLORADO <br />Division of Reclamation, <br />Mining and Safety <br />Department of Natural Resources <br />1313 Sherman Street, Room 215 <br />Denver, CO 80203 <br />March 6, 2017 <br />Miranda Blomquist <br />Peabody Sage Creek Mine <br />29515 Routt County Road #27 <br />Oak Creek, CO 80467 <br />RE: Peabody Sage Creek Mine, Permit No. C-2009-087 <br />Bond Release Application No. 4 (SL4) <br />Dear Ms. Blomquist, <br />In accordance with Rule 3.03.2(2) of the Rules and Regulations of the Colorado Mined Land <br />Reclamation Board for Coal Mining, the Division is required to conduct a bond release inspection <br />within 30 days of finding the SL -04 bond release application complete or as soon after, as the <br />Division determines that weather conditions allow. The Division determined the SL -04 bond <br />release application to be complete on February 16, 2017. Based on the current ground conditions <br />of the bond release areas and mine site access, the Division will schedule the bond release <br />inspection in the spring or summer of 2017. <br />Specific scheduling of the SL -04 bond release inspection date will be determined based on <br />weather and ground conditions of the site. <br />If you have any questions or comments feel free to contact me.
