We received your
inspection report February 23, 2017. Just one small change to the
report, change the name on the report from Bennie to Bjorne, as
Bjorne and I are the current family managers. Thanks.
As I told you during your visit we have not been able to find a market
but we are beginning to stock: pile gypsum to broadcast on the school'
Section which we lease. Bjorne and I are working with Rick Romano,
District Conservationist, from Farm Services to integrate a plan to
prevent the effects of draught by broad casting gypsum, nitrogen, and
other nutrients to the areas including reseeding with native grasses. If
successful perhaps this will develop into a market as the Fremont
County area has many alkaline areas which couldbenefit from the
aeration qualities of gypsum.
