Rule 2: Permits <br />Exhibit "B" <br />[This Notice of Right to Receive aPre-Blast Survey will be sent to property owners that own a <br />residence or other structure that is located within one-half mile of the mine Permit Area on an <br />annual basis.] <br />[Date:] <br />[Property owner's name and address] <br />Re: Notice of Right to Receive aPre-Blast Survev <br />For the Lorencito Canyon Mine located 20 miles west of Trinidad, Colorado <br />Mine Permit No. C-96-084. <br />Dear [list property owner's name]: <br />Lorencito Coal Company, LLC, ("Lorencito") owns and operates the Lorencito Canyon Mine <br />located 20 miles west of Trinidad, Colorado. <br />Blastin¢ Location: From time to time, Lorencito uses explosives to remove overburden from <br />coal seams located within the Lorencito Canyon Mine at the following legal locations: <br />Township 33 South, Ranee 66 West, 6 P.M. <br />Sections: 5, 6, 7, and 8 <br />Notice of Right to Request Pre-Blast Survev: Our records reflect that you are a property <br />owner that owns a residence (or other structure) located within one-half mile of the Mine Permit <br />Area for the Lorencito Canyon Mine. You aze entitled to request apre-blast survey to <br />benchmazk the impact of the blasting upon your residence or other structure located on your <br />property.
