i
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Cedar Creek Associates, Inc. (Cedar Creek) was contracted in 2016 by J. E. Stover and Associates,
Inc. on behalf of CAM Mining, LLC. to evaluate revegetated areas within the Munger Canyon Mine for Year
1 Phase III Bond Release. Field studies conducted on June 5th and 6th, 2016 to evaluate revegetation
efforts have shown that the target reclaimed plant communities have progressed sufficiently to be
considered for Phase III Bond Release (Table 1). Ground cover of perennial plants within the reclaimed
area is comparable to adjacent undisturbed native communities and plant succession is occurring and
progressing in a positive direction, indicating that plants are self-sustaining.

Table 1 Munger - 2016
Success
Criteria
Phase III Bond
Release Block
35.0%
Pass
5
Pass
2
Pass
0
Pass
375
Pass
1,733
Pass
Production
(pounds per acre)
Total Perennial Herbaceous
(90% of Sagebrush Ref.
