The inspection was <br />conducted by Clayton Wein of the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety (the Division). There was no <br />company representative present for the inspection. The weather was clear with a temperature of 46 derees <br />farenheight. The ground conditions were damp due to the recent snowmelt. <br />HYDROLOGIC BALANCE - Rule 4.05 <br />Drainage Control 4.05.1, 4.05.2, 4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5, 4.05.6; Discharge Structures 4.05.7, 4.05.10; <br />Diversions 4.05.4; Effluent Limits 4.05.2; Ground Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Surface Water Monitoring 4.05.13; <br />Drainage – Acid and Toxic Materials 4.05.8; Impoundments 4.05.6, 4.05.9; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18: <br /> During the inspection of the loadout, there was no discharge from the ponds. The Sediment Pond was <br />holding a small amount of water (Photo 1). The embankments are well vegetated and stable. There were no <br />indications of erosion. The dugout pond was dry during the inspection. There were no issues noted. <br /> <br />ROADS – Rule 4.03 <br />Construction 4.03.1(3)/4.03.2(3) <br />Drainage 4.03.1(4)/4.03.2(4) <br />Surfacing and Maintenance4.03.1(5) and (6)/4.03.2(5) and (6) <br />Reclamation 4.03.1(7)/4.03.2(7): <br /> The access road to the loadout was in good condition. There were no ruts or erosion noted. There are no <br />off -site impacts. <br /> <br />SIGNS AND MARKERS – Rule 4.02: <br /> The mine ID sign is posted to the left of the main entrance to the loadout. SO -1 was issued by the <br />Division on January 13, 2017. The sign is currently displaying the correct permit number for the site and the old <br />information on the sign has been crossed out. There is an updated phone number on the sign (Photo 2).
