The <br />correct tank reference is the High pH Thickener overflow tank and is shown as Figure 1, within <br />Attachment 1 and Figure 2 in Attachment 2. <br />The following points addresses the requirements as outlined within Rule 8, Sub section <br />8.2. <br />a. Actions taken to respond to and correct the emergency situation or condition <br />At approximately 2:00am, 2500gal of High pH water, measuring 200ppm WAD CN, <br />overtopped the High pH Thickener overflow tank at the High Grade Mill Facility. <br />Adjustments were made to the processing circuit to prevent the tank from overflowing <br />further. Flow from the circuit feeding the affected area was shut off until control could be <br />regained. The full Mill circuit was also shut down until control of the plant could be <br />regained. <br />Communication was made to the Mill General Foreman, Process Superintendent and <br />the Environmental representative on call. <br />
