Our experience of the last five years is that our pasture and range
looks better than it has in the past. This is because the average
annual precipitation is easily 4 to 5 inches above our "normal"
13.87 inches per year. If we get several years of normal or below normal
precipitation then you'll see a significant decrease in production
on both irrigated and non -irrigated acreage in Moffat county.
