E. Removal. <br />1. Do not remove or disturb forms until the concrete has attained sufficient strength to <br />safely support all dead and live loads. <br />2. Retain shoring in place and reinforce as necessary to carry any construction equipment, <br />materials, or other loads in excess of cured strength. <br />3. Use care in form removal to avoid surface gouging, corner, or edge breakage, and other <br />damage to the concrete. <br />4. Do not commence form removal earlier than the following schedule. <br />a. Walls and columns not yet supporting loads - twenty-four (24) hours. <br />b. Vertical sides of beams and girders - twenty-four (24) hours. <br />c. Bottom forms and shoring for slabs, beams, and girders under ten feet (10') clear <br />span between supports - seven (7) days. <br />d. Bottom forms and shoring for slabs, beams, and girders between ten feet (10') to <br />twenty feet (20') clear span - fourteen (14) days. <br />e. Bottom forms and shoring for slabs, beams, and girders over twenty feet (20') clear <br />span - twenty-one (21) days. <br />f.
