The 1.71 acres disturbed
includes drill pads and road segments that were constructed to complete two (2) mine ventilation boreholes (MVBs) on two (2)
new pads (See Table 1). The MVBs constructed this year were for longwall panel E6 and included MVBs E6-13 and E6-14.
In 2016, MCC plugged and abandoned three (3) MVBs and nine (9) former water monitoring wells, and completed reclamation
of three (3) MVB pads (E4-15 through E4-17) and associated access roads (See Table II). The 1.89 acres of reclamation included
regrading the sites and roads to the approximate original contour, as well as topsoiling, seeding and mulching. A copy of the seed
mix invoice is attached.
This report shows the addition of 9.97 acres to the "Phase I Release" column (SL -10) and 22.1 acres to the "Phase III
Release" column (SL -09), as both were proposed for approval in December 2016.
If you have questions concerning this submittal, or require further information, please contact me at
(970) 929-2238.
Sincerely,
I ra4q&
Kathleen G.
