RULE 2.04 - APPLICATION FOR PERMIT FOR SURFACE OR UNDERGROUND MINING ACTIVITIES - MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR INFORMATION ON ENVIRONMENTAL • RESOURCES RULE 2.04.1 - OBJECTIVES The objectives of 2.04 are to ensure that each application provides the Division a complete and accurate description of the environmental resources that may be impacted or affected by proposed surface coal mining operations. RULE 2.04.2 - RESPONSIBII.,ITIES (1) It is the responsibility of the applicant to provide except where specifically exempted. all information required by 2.04 in the application. (2) It is the responsibility of State and Federal govemment agencies to provide information for a pplications as specifically required by 2.04. RESPONSE Within this Section of the permit application, Twentymile Coal, LLC, or predecessor companies (TCC) provides complete and accurate descriptions of the environmental resources that either have been or may be impacted or affected by the underground mining operations and the associated surface activities. RUI:.E 2.04.3 - GENER:AL REQUIREMENTS: SITE DESCRIPTION AND LAND USE INFORMATION • (1) Each permit application shall include a description of the existing, premming environmental resources within the proposed permit area and adjacent areas that may be affected or impacted by the imposed surface or und.ei-ground minim activities.
