Likewise, we urge you to <br />insure that no drainage constructed along the haul route or from the gravel pits <br />will result in any runoff into the Ditch. If you approve this gravel mining project, <br />we also urge you to include a condition that no mining activity or material <br />stockpiles are allowed within 1,000 feet of the centerline of the Ditch. <br />Your careful attention to the design and construction of the proposed <br />bridge across the Ditch will likewise be most appreciated. Again, the Board does <br />not want to expose its maintenance personnel to any safety hazards, nor does it <br />wish to expose the Ditch to any structural damage or pollution, any of which <br />could occur in the event of a bridge failure and/or a truck going into the Ditch. <br />These concerns are expressed in accord with the Board's fiduciary <br />responsibilities to the Company and its shareholders.
