Number of Excursions, Frequency of Analysis, and Sample Type. <br />Edit Check Errors <br />No errors. <br />Comments <br />Based on the enclosed information on precipitation events preceding the discharge <br />of 10/11/2016, we request determination that the alternate limitations for "less than or equal to the 10 -year, 24-hour precipitation <br />event" apply to the discharge at this location, per LA 1 and LA 2 of the permit. The <br />facility <br />experienced precipitation between 0.09 and 0.36 inches (measurable precipitation) <br />for the 24.48 hours prior, as recorded on the enclosed weather report. No mine waters are discharged to this pond, resulting <br />in stormwater runoff loading only. Therefore, the TSS and Total Iron effluent limits do not <br />apply to <br />the discharge on 10/1112016, rather the Settleable Solids limit of 0.5 mL/L <br />should apply.
