2/2/2017
State.co.us Executive Branch Mail - New Elk TR -71 adequacy
Ron and Louis -
I am looking at Robin Reilley's letter (October 19, 2016), and I want to make a point of clarification and ask for additional
information.
At the top of her list of adequacy issues, she has the heading "Map Issues." As far as I can tell, only the first item
should be classified as a map issue. The other items are more than just "map issues."
Regarding adequacy item 4., 1 would like NECC to expand this explanation to discuss the expected quality of the water
to be injected underground and how there is no likely chance for this water to be detrimental to groundwater quality.
Thanks,
Rob
Rob b„.
Environmental Protection Specialist
Coal Regulatory Program
P 303.866.3567, extension 6113 1 F 303.832,6106
1313 Sherman Street, Room 215, Denver, CO 80203
rob.zuber@state.co.us I http://mining. state. co. us
https://mail.googl e.com/mail/b/511/u/0/?ui=2&i k=deb7fOcd20&view=pt&search= i nbox&th=159fab526da0f2ca&si m 1= 159Fab526da0f2ca 1 /1
