2016 Recommended Modifications to the West Elk Mine Hydrologic Monitoring Network 36 <br />steady, ranging from 7.31 to 8.56 s.u., and averaging 8.21 s.u. In comparison, the single baseline <br />laboratory pH value was 7.2 s.u. TSS values for this stream for the period of record are variable, <br />ranging from ND to 94 mg/L. No baseline TSS data are available for comparison (WWE, 2001). <br />Dissolved iron values range from ND to 0.45 mg/L. No baseline dissolved iron data are <br />available for comparison (WWE, 2001). Total iron values are variable, ranging from 0.09 to <br />3.98 mg/L, averaging 1.06 mg/L, compared to a maximum baseline value of 0.89 mg/L.
