3.1.11 Buildings and Structures: <br /> The site is privately owned land. The site does not fall under the State Historic Preservation <br /> Office Requirements for a cultural or historical study. Some existing access roads may be <br /> left as part of the post mining land use. At this time, which roads are to be left, has not been <br /> determined. Morgan Sand and Gravel; Inc will seek approval from the DRMS for any access <br /> roads which it would like to leave as part of the post mining land use. <br /> 3.1.12 Signs and Markers: <br /> (1) Facility entrance sign: <br /> This section is not applicable since facility entrance sign(s) are posted. <br /> (2) Affected area boundary markers: <br /> Portions of the proposed amendment area are delineated by existing fence lines. Where <br /> fence lines do not exist, suitable markers, such as painted t-posts,will be used to mark any <br /> unmarked boundaries. <br /> (3) Alternative methods of affected area boundary identification: <br /> Please see section 3.1.12 (2) above. <br /> This ends the requirements of Section 3.1,Reclamation Performance Standards. The <br /> narrative will resume with the remainder of Section 6.4.5. <br /> Continuation of the Reclamation Plan: <br /> 6.4.5(2)(d) Where applicable,plans for topsoil segregation,preservation, and <br /> replacement; for stabilization,compaction, and grading of spoil; and for revegetation. <br /> The revegetation plan shall contain a list of the preferred species of grass,legumes, <br /> forbs, shrubs or trees to be planted,the method and rates of seeding and planting, the <br /> estimated availability of viable seeds in sufficient quantities of the species proposed to <br /> be used,and the proposed time of seeding and planting: <br /> This section is addressed in section 6.4.5(2)above. <br /> Seedbed preparation was covered in Section 3.1.10(5)of this document. Seeding will occur <br /> during the fall of the year or as recommended by the NRCS to achieve optimum seed <br /> establishment. <br /> The reclamation seed mix and topsoil pile seed mix are addressed in the existing permit and <br /> have been slightly modified with this Amendment. <br /> 41 <br />
