The proposed renewal will allow for continued mining and/or reclamation operations at the site. The Coal Ridge No 1 Mine is a/an underground operation located in Garfield County, approximate - &7 7 miles West of Glenwood Springs, Colorado at interest is private, and the surface to be af- fected is private land The permit area encom- passes approximately 2,484.30 acres This proposed decision is based on a finding that the proposed operation will comply with all re- quirements of the Colorado Surface Coal Mining Reclamation Act, Section 34 33 101 et seq , C.R S , and the regulations promulgated thereun- der.
