3. Weld County intends to pump water from both gravel pits to Lone Tree <br /> Creek during summer months only. This will create more water loss as well <br /> as the loss of considerable time for water delivery. Weld County has no <br /> Augmentation plan to address this. <br /> 4. Weld County has not addressed any restoration or reclamation with their <br /> abandoned Pierce north gravel pit with regard to injury to senior water <br /> rights on Lone Tree Creek. <br /> a. Weld County has a permit to mine a dry gravel pit, not a wet gravel pit. <br /> b. Weld County is diverting surface water to their gravel pit. <br /> c. Weld County is losing Lone Tree creek water through evaporation. <br /> d. Weld County is exporting Lone Tree water with gravel mined from pit. <br /> e. Weld County is blocking the timely flow of Lone Tree Creek water. <br /> f. Weld County does not have an augmentation plan to address injury to <br /> senior water right holders. <br /> Weld County must be required to have an augmentation plan to address my total <br /> water loss (same time/same place). <br /> I will be waiting to hear fro you. <br /> Charles Tucker <br />
