Thank
you for you timely submittal. The report indicates that there were no reclamation activities that
occurred during 2016. There are 4.1 acres that have not been Phase III released. These acres are
a part of the permanent water treatment system.
During inspections throughout 2016, thistle and knapweed were identified at the site. Thistle
was observed on the embankments of the ponds and on the cleanings along the ditch to the
Refuse Pond. Knapweed was spotted in various locations throughout the site. During
inspections of the mine, areas that had been treated for weeds were located. The treated areas
were showing positive results. Please continue to follow the approved weed control plan in the
North Thompson Creek permit.
The Division finds the 2016 Annual Reclamation Report to be in compliance with the Rules and
the approved permit application. Based on the information above, the Division has no further
comments or questions. If you have any questions, please contact me at (303)-866-3567 x8144.
1313 Sherman Street, Room 215, Denver, CO 80203 P 303.866.3567 F 303.832.8106 http-.//mining.state.co.us
John W.
