• <br />COLORADO DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH <br />Air Pollution Control Division #'F 1g76 �` * Telephone: (303) 320 -4180 <br />EMISSION PERMIT <br />PERMIT NO. 84GA323F -11 INITIAL APPROVAL <br />DATE ISSUED: April 12, 1985 FINAL APPROVAL ❑ <br />ISSUED TO: STORM KING MINES, INC. <br />THE SOURCE TO WHICH THIS PERMIT APPLIES IS DESCRIBED AND LOCATED AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br />Underground coal mining and surface coal preparation facility <br />located South of I -70 Highway midway between New Castle and <br />Glenwood Springs, Garfield County, Colorado. <br />THE SPECIFIC EQUIPMENT OR ACTIVITY SUBJECT TO THIS PERMIT INCLUDES THE <br />FOLLOWING: <br />Coal Ridge No. 1 Mine: 1500 tons specialty coal stockpile to <br />include load in and load out by front end loader. <br />THIS PERMIT IS GRANTED SUBJECT TO ALL RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE <br />COLORADO AIR QUALITY CONTROL COMMISSION AND THE COLORADO AIR QUALITY <br />CONTROL ACT C.R.S. 1973 (25-7 -101 et sue), TO THOSE GENERAL TERMS AND <br />CONDITIONS SET FORTH ON THE REVERSE SIDE OF THIS DOCUMENT AND THE <br />FOLLOWING SPECIFIC TERMS AND CONDITIONS: <br />1. The fugitive particulate emission control measures listed on the attached <br />page (as proposed in the Fugitive Particulate Emission Control Plan submitted <br />to the Division) shall be applied to the particulate producing sources as <br />required by Regulation No. 1. <br />2. Emissions of particulate matter shall not exceed the following limitation(s) <br />(as calculated in the Division's preliminary analysis): <br />.04 lbs. /hour and .08 tons /year. <br />• These emission limitations are based on maintaining a 1500 ton stockpile <br />of specialty coal and a maximum load in load out rate of 50,000 tons per <br />year. <br />
