2 10 Public Notice <br />Following is the most recent public notice: <br />PUBLIC NOTICE <br />C.B. Minerals Company, LLC, P.O. Box 1827, Pebble Beach, CA, 93953, has submitted <br />an application for renewal of a valid existing permit to conduct mining in Colorado to the <br />(Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety. The permit renewal is for CB's Coal Ridge No. <br />1 Mine, mining permit No. C- 1984-065. The operation is in permanent cessation. The <br />mine is located approximately 3 miles east of New Castle, south of the Colorado River in <br />the Grand Hogback region in Garfield County. The Coal Ridge No. 1 Mine permit area is <br />located on the U.S. Geological Survey 7.5 minute Storm ling Mountain and New Castle <br />Puadrangle maps. The mine permit area is located in portions of the following described <br />ands: <br />Township 6 South, Range 91 West, 6th PM <br />Sec. 1: Those lands in the NE% yet south of County Road 335, Lots 3 <br />and 4, S %2, S %2NW% <br />Sec. 12: N %2NE% <br />Township 6 South, <br />l Sec. 5: <br />J Sec. 6: <br />Sec. 7: <br />Sec. 8: <br />Sec. 9: <br />Sec. 15: <br />Sec. 16: <br />�J <br />Range 90 West, 6th PM <br />S' /2SW'/ <br />All lands south of County Road <br />NE %, N' /2NW' /a <br />N'/2, N %SE'/., NE %SW'/ <br />S %NW'/, SW'/ <br />NW% <br />N %2NE'/, NE %NW% <br />containing 2484.3 acres more or less. <br />Ownership of the land within the permit boundary is all private and includes land owned by <br />NCIG Financial, Inc., Barton Porter and Leonard Rippy. <br />A copy of the proposed renewal application is available for public inspection at the Garfield <br />County Clerk and Recorder's office, Garfield County Court House, 109 8t' Street, <br />Glenwood Springs CO, and at the offices of the Division of Reclamation, Mining and <br />Safety, 1313 Sherman St., Room 215, Denver, CO, 80203, (303) 866 -3567.
