Minimum required experience: Two years (for level 1) or four years (for level 11) of progressively responsible work involving commercial plumbing as well as the instal- lation and/or operation and maintenance of commercial scale boilers. Experience installing or maintaining both hydronic and steam systems, as well as operational familiarity with commercial, large scale HVAC systems is also required. Part-time experience will be prorated. Substitution for experience: Successful completion of a for- malized plumbing, pipefitting, steam fitting, or heating, ventilation and air conditioning apprenticeship program, or higher level, non -correspondence course work in the same fields from an accredited vocational school or university may substitute for the experience on a year -for -year basis. An unofficial copy of transcripts or certificates must be attached to qualify for this substitu- tion. Position is a full-time regular appointment. This is an essential services, non-exempt position, eligible for overtime and on-call pay. Beginning wage is dependent upon minimum qualifications: $20.07 hourly for level I; $23.20 hourly for level Il.
