This report reflects the observations of the
photos.

The mine is a reclaimed surface mine. No mining activity is activly occurring at the site. Activities on the
property are limited to continued establishment of the permananet post-mining vegeation, hydrologic sampling,
and site maintenance. During summer and fall months, livestock grazing, and limited hunting may occur in
accordance with landowner agreements. The site is snow covered and vehicle access is limited to snow machines.
There was no evidence of recent vehicle access on the site.
HYDROLOGIC BALANCE - Rule 4.05
Drainage Control 4.05.1, 4.05.2, 4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5, 4.05.6; Diversions 4.05.4; Effluent Limits
4.05.2; Impoundments 4.05.6, 4.05.9; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18:
Ponds are snow and ice covered. Ponds visible in the photos include;

Pond 14: This pond has a frozen pool of water and is snow covered. Pond 14 does not appear to be discharging.
Pond 13: This pond has a frozen pool of water and is snow covered. Pond 13 does not appear to be discharging.
Pond 12: Pond 12 was mostly frozen and snow covered, but open water was observed at the eastern inlet of the
pond. The open channel at the discharge flume indicates that this pond is likely discharging.
Pond 12A: This pond held a frozen pool of water with snow covering it all. Based on the aerial photos, it was
indeterminate if there was any discharge from pond 12A.
Stock Tank ST-1: Was snow covered. It appears that if this stock tank holds a pool of water beneath the snow, the
water level is very low.

Photos did not include Pond 10, Pond 11 Pond 11A.

Drainages throughout the site appear good. All drainages are snow covered.
